Harp Presentations and Demonstrations

Roxanne Ziegler's versatility, creativity, experience and humor really shine when she gives presentations! She chooses from a vast repertoire to create "theme" programs.

The musical portion of the program is approximately 50 minutes long and there is time afterward for questions and comments from the audience. Both segments are very well received.

Each program is based around a theme and songs are chosen from a variety of sources such as folk tradition, light classical, contemporary, renaissance, popular standards from many different decades and even hymns.

Roxanne ususally concentrates on one theme program per month, however she can certainly play any of those listed below at any time. If you would like her to compile a program to suit your particular needs, that can be done as well. New programs are always being created and older programs updated and expanded.

February - romantic love ballads


March - lyrical and lively tunes from the Celtic tradition


April - Spring is in the air


May - in celebration of Mother's Day, a selection of songs with ladies' names in the titles


June - In the good old summertime


July - Traditional American folk songs


August - travel around the USA OR travel abroad - songs with destinations in the titles


September - a little night music - songs about the moon and stars


October - color my world - songs with colors in the titles


November - familiar hymns OR songs from favorite musicals


December - Christmas Essence - songs about snow, the sacred, Santa and sentiment OR
